According to an estimate by the National Partnership for Women and Families, women lose 1.6T dollars annually due to the wage gap alone. That doesn’t factor in the loss of purchasing power due to the pink tax or the impact on women’s ability to save and invest. Lost wages also impact women in a system of government that favors candidates who raise and spend the most money.

The I Know Why She Stayed Initiative focuses on the impact of the gender wage gap, the pink tax, and non-custodial parents being in arrears on women’s inability to achieve equality. Our goal is to educate women about these issues through social awareness, documented resources, and free online courses for every economic status.

Donations and sponsorships will help to propel this initiative forward so we can unite together and bring hope, education and freedom to our sisters still bound by economic control.
